Brian had a registered building business in France between 2002-2017, specialising in house renovation projects. He is a keen road cyclist and triathlete, and this is a fantastic part of France to indulge this passion.
I was ground staff for British Airways before leaving for France in 2002. I went back to the airline business recently for a couple of seasons with EasyJet, based in Toulouse. We both have experience in hospitality, having managed a chateau in the area for a number of years before we bought Meric.
We live at the rear of the main house, in an apartment served by a separate drive and entrance. We live with Eric, Betty and Charley, our three small, friendly dogs, and although they are fenced away from the main house, you will see them occasionally when we service the pool and garden. Other than that, guests can be assured of complete privacy during their stay.
We consider ourselves extremely lucky to live in this region, with it's history and spectacular scenery, as well as the food and wine. We are in a position to recommend interesting places to visit, good restaurants, local markets, and, of course, the best places to go wine tasting.
